The Untold Story About Goldie's Death

Plenty rumours flying in the air. While no one knows for
sure, what’s responsible for the death, last night, of
Goldie, many have been speculating about the possible
cause of the death of such a promising and seemingly
healthy star.
Several industry sources say it is possible the singer
suffered from Deep vein Thrombosis, resulting from
pulmonary embolism – a sudden blockage of a lung
artery which doctors say could be life-threatening. But
no one close to the singer could confirm this. Sufferers
generally avoid long flights, and sitting in the same
position for long.
Goldie was on a 12 hour flight from the US to Lagos
yesterday. Other causes being rumoured include
Pneumonia and drug overdose. ‘Very far from possible’,
one source who worked the the deceased singer for
years told us minutes ago. Our source however admits
it’s possible the singer had been battling an unknown
illness. ‘I remember at least once when she had to go to
the UK from treatment’, he says. ‘She did not say
exactly what she was treated for, but she was away
for some time’. ‘It’s possible it’s long flight fatigue’,
one Goldie friend who did not want to be named told
us, adding, ‘maybe she had some alcohol on board
without light exercise. I saw a documentary on that
before, that’s why I only drink juice and water on
board’.
And those who witnessed the valentine’s day traffic in
Lagos yesterday, say there’s a high possibility the
chaos ruined any chances of getting to the hospital
while she still had a chance of survival. A statement
from her label confirmed that she was brought in
dead. Meanwhile a poem circulating online, believed to
have been penned by Goldie’s boyfriend Prezzo, is
further fuelling speculation the singer may have had a
health condition that may have led to her death. ‘God
saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not meant
to be’, the Kenyan who left for lagos immediately he
heard of the shocking passing, wrote on facebook
shortly after noon today.
‘God saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not
meant to be. So he put his arms around you, and
whispered come with me. With tearful eyes we watched
you, as we saw you pass away. Although we love you
deeply, we could not make you stay. Your golden heart
stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke
our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best’. Only
when we sight a doctor’s report, or get details from
her family or label, will we be sure what’s responsible
for the tragic loss that has turned what would have
been a valentine weekend into a weekend of gloom…
