Legendary midfielder Paul Scholes has returned to Manchester United in
a coaching capacity.
Scholes, who retired at the end of last season after making over 700
appearances and scoring 155 goals under Sir Alex Ferguson at Old
Traford, is assisting youth team coach and former United team-mate
Nicky Butt on a game-by-game basis.
Scholes initially retired from professional football in the summer of 2011
but he immediately returned to the club in a coaching role and his
unwavering love for the club led to a comeback in the second half of the
season.
