Kardashian’s 20-carat diamond ring?!
Reports have it that Kim Kardashian‘s ex-husband Kris
Humphries is auctioning off the reality star’s
engagement ring. The ring is reportedly slated for sale
on the 15th of October at Christie’s Auction House in
New York and although Kris is not expressly stated as
the seller, sources allege that the ring is identical to
the one Kim wore during her whirwirl engagement and
72-day marriage to the NBA player.
The ring, a Lorraine Schwartz creation with a 16.21-
carat center diamond and two 1.80-carat side
diamonds had been the centre of some media buzz
following the couple’s split in 2011. Many wondered
what the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star would
do with the bauble but it turns out Kim quietly gave it
back to Kris last year.
It is believed the ring would fetch anything in the
neighbourhood of $300,000-$500,000 when it is sold, a
long shot from the $2million it reportedly cost when it
was first bought.
It would be recalled that Kim Kardashian and Kris
Humphries got married in August 2011 and separated
72 short days later with Kim filing for divorce. The ex-
flames finalised their divorce in April this year while
Kim was six months pregnant with her daughter with
boyfriend Kanye West, North.
